to Czechia?
Let a local guide show you the best castles, hidden gems, historic cities, beautiful nature and unforgettable experiences across the Czech Republic.
Meet Your Local Guide
Hi, I'm Lukáš.
Hi, I'm Lukáš — a Prague local who still gets lost on purpose in his own city. I started Wonders of Czechia because I kept watching friends from abroad leave with a checklist of famous sights, but never the Czechia I actually know: the castle ruins you reach by a forest path, the wine cellar where the owner pulls up a chair, and the town square that goes silent at dusk.
I grew up here, between history classes at school and weekend trips to castles with my parents. Czech history isn't something I read in a guidebook — it's in the cobblestones I walk every morning and the Gothic spires I pass on the tram.
The best parts of this country aren't always the ones with the longest queues. They're the charming towns, the nature trails through sandstone labyrinths, and the hidden gems you find when you slow down.
This site is my invitation to see Czechia through local eyes. No tour company, no generic lists — just honest advice from a friend who wants you to fall in love with this place.
